What takes most techs one or two years to learn, I had competent in three months. It came naturally.
It's a true family affair. My brother Joriah Mielke owns Performance Restoration in Longmont—he's an absolute ace. My brother-in-law Jason Tarves owns Boulder Dent and Hail Repair in Superior—also a master technician. I founded Asheville Hail and Dent Repair in North Carolina before bringing my expertise to Denver Metro.

My breakthrough came learning under Matt McNally during a massive hail event at our Mercedes dealer in Asheville, then mastering my craft with Dent Wizard Europe in France—from small towns north of Paris to Tours. That's where I perfected the dent hammer and push technique. The realization? Pushing less was more. Very "Karate Kid," but it works.
